Growing hedera indoors is not difficult as long as you provide what the plant needs. The most important part of indoor plant care is light. Heathers need bright light. Without enough light, indoor plants will become leggy and sickly looking. They will also be more prone to pests. When watering your plant, always check the soil before adding water. So let the soil dry out a bit (dry to the touch above) before watering again. Also, make sure your plant has excellent drainage. Fertilize your plant about once a month in the spring, summer, and fall with a water-soluble, nitrogen-rich fertilizer. Do not feed in winter, as this is the dormant period and fertilizers can do more harm than good at this time.
