You can switch such devices on or off using your smartphone and the alpina Smart Home app, even when they're plugged in. The app also lets you set schedules for each device connected to the smart plug. For example, you can have your lights turn on when you get home from work and turn off again when you go to bed. The smart indoor plug connects via your Wi-Fi router, so you don't need an additional hub. To control the plug, download the alpina Smart app to your phone. This app works through the user-friendly Tuya Smart platform. Once the app is downloaded, create an account or log in to an existing one. Then click the '+' to add the smart plug. Next, plug the smart plug into a socket and confirm it in the app when the reset light starts flashing. Confirm your Wi-Fi network and password in the app. Give the smart plug a name in the app. It can then also be used for voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
