Acrylic paint Super Flexible 5 L White Base B. Is a highly-flexible acrylic coating intended for bridging existing cracks and preventing the appearance of new cracks in exterior and interior walls. Suitable for both individual builders and contractors. Super Flexible is available in a smooth finish as well as textured finishes with a small (K1/4), medium (K1/2) and large (K1) grain sizes. The material creates after drying a flexible and durable long-lasting coating capable of bridging cracks of up to 2 mm. Super Flexible is highly resistant to extreme weather conditions and UV radiation, does no absorb dust and maintains an attractive and clean appearance. Super Flexible prevents water from penetrating into the building but also “breathes” (is permeable to water vapor). Meets the requirements of the Israeli Standard 1731. Typical Uses: Intended for coating exterior and interior walls to prevent the phenomenon of cracking and provide the surface a protection from severe weather conditions. Surface Preparation: Remove old paint not firmly attached to the surface. Clean well to remove any foreign material. Apply a coat of white Primer X. Make repairs of minor defects with Rigid Wall Putty or Altech Violet (with the addition of 25% cement) and smooth the surface. Fill cracks with Flexible Wall Putty applied with a brush, up to a distance of 3 cm from the edges of the crack. Apply another coat of white Primer X on top of the repairs before applying Super Flexible. Application: The coating is performed in two or three coats in a thickness suitable for obtaining the required bridging. Smooth Super Flexible can be applied with a fur roller or sprayed with a compressor to obtain an “orange peel” surface, or with an airless sprayer to obtain a smooth surface. Do not apply the material when the temperature is below 7 0C or when rain is predicted. Clean up: Tools can be cleaned with soap and water immediately after use. Colour: According to the Nirlat color fan deck. Gloss level: Matt. Dilution: Up to 7% water. Coverage: 0.8 – 1.0 kg/m2 to obtain a dry coat thickness of 400-600 microns required for the capacity of bridging cracks of up to 2 mm. Dry-time: to touch: 2 hours; to recoat: 3 hours; complete drying: 24-48 hours
