The thyme faustini plant is a semi-woody perennial plant that belongs to the Lamiaceae family. Originally from the Mediterranean area, it grows in thick tufts with small dark green leaves and pink and white flowers. In the kitchen: it is used to flavor fish and grilled meats, sauces, vegetables and liqueurs. Harvest: the leaves can be harvested in late spring at the beginning of flowering. Conservation: gently cut the twigs about 10 cm from the ground and group them in small bunches to hang to dry. Once dried, shell the leaves and place them in a glass container. You can pick the twigs and use the fresh leaves. Beneficial properties: Thyme Faustini is attributed antiseptic, antioxidant, carminative, antibacterial properties.
